Tarragon essential oil (Artemisia dracunculus) is a colorless to pale yellow liquid display a uniforim sweet, fresh, clean, anisic-spicy bouquet.

In natural perfumery it is used in trace amounts in herbal bouquets, culinary perfumes, chypre, cologne and green-floral bases.
