Absolute 5 Geranium--Hops
Geranium Absolute is extracted from the
leaves and branchlets of Pelargonium graveolens which grows in Morocco, Egypt (main center or extraction), India, France, and China.
The absolute is an olive green or green colored liquid with a powerful, penetrating, sweet herbaceous, green-leafy odor, with a fine fresh,
minty-rosey undertone with good tenacity and radiance.
In perfumery it imparts a rich mellow body to rose perfumes. It finds use in herbal bouquets, colognes, fougeres, chypres and floral blends, lavender
colognes and bases. More...

Santosh Perfume: An Herbal Chypre
The next phase in the creation of our Chypre Perfume is to build the middle tier accord which
gives added smoothness, depth and tenacity to the composition while contributing soft, precious woods, slighty rich herbaceous, musky notes to the
tangy, resinous elegant mossy-earthy notes of the first accord (labdanum, oakmoss and bergamot / lime).
For the sake of olfactory knowledge one may wish to let this accord mature a month before adding it to the Chype Base accord. The changes in this
composition are not so marked as one might notice in the Base Accord but the composition will go through transitions none the less and it is
worthwhile studying the changes over a period of time. More...

April Updates
Dear Friends- Kind greetings! We hope all of you are well and enjoying the advent of Spring.
In early to mid- April I will be sending out a preorder special for organic, wild harvested and non-sprayed oils from Africa and Madagascar (lemon
balm, geranium, lemongrass, peppermint, rose otto, etc). I will also be putting together a special order for the ethically harvested Sandalwood from
New Caledonia. All of you who regularly receive the newsletter will receive the notice regarding these orders.
Many of you have been asking when we would have the organic Blood Orange from Sicily again.
Recently I was able to contact a grower and distiller in Sicily who has extensive organic blood orange orchards in the Mt. Etna region. More...
