Absolute 10 Patchouli --
Rose
Rosa bourbonia absolute is to my knowledge only extracted in India, most of it
coming from South India in the state of Tamil Nadu. The deciduous shrub is also grown extensively in Rajasthan but its main use is for the
production of attar, gulkand and rose water with a small amount of essential oil also being produced in that dry desert region.
The absolute has olfactory characteristics distinct from Rosa damascena and Rosa centifolia in that it presents a more ambery, green honeyed note
intermingled with its rich roseaceous heart note. One can distinguish something of the beauty of the Rose Leaf Absolute in its bouquet. The tenacity
is very good with a soft delicate radiance. Read all...

Fragrance of Fougere
Fougere, which means fern, is a perfume which was created as a fantasy concept,
with the idea that it would
capture the combined mossy, earthy, green aromas of the forest, the natural
habitat of ferns.
The core essences that came to be associated with
fougere perfumes are oakmoss, lavender, hay absolute, tonka bean absolute with a
secondary base accord that might include vetiver, patchouli, geranium, clary
sage, bergamot. Once the formula for these two base accords has been worked out
then many other materials can be added to give ones fougere creation its own
unique character. More...

particular item overnight, so if you are foreseeing needing specific oils during this time we encourage you to order early. Once we sell out of an
item it can take 4-6 weeks sometimes longer to restock it as the majority of the essences we carry come from overseas.
As many of you know, the political problems in any part of the world can cause shortages of the raw materials originating there. More...
